Cutting Edge Flight Control,

Processing and Analytics

This is where the real power is. Mapping and analytics software turns a normal drone system into an effective tool for precision agriculture.

We’re experts with a number of software packages, having used them all for our own farm R&D. We know these options provide the best combination of simplicity and features.

End-to-end solutions

We can provide the right software package to suit your intended use as part of a full drone system package. Or if you’re just looking for software, get in touch and we can recommend the right package for you, and train you how to use it.

Aeroview

Multispectral Data Capture, Analysis, Scouting and Export

Watch Video Intro (note that the Scout app is now available!)

Aeroview is a cloud based end-to-end software package with built in access to satellite data (Visual, NDVI and Moisture maps). At its core is a management platform where farms and field boundaries are defined, either by drawing or by importing from farm management software such a Gatekeeper. Boundaries are then be used in the flight control app to easily map the required areas with your drone.

Image processing is completed on the cloud with various analysis options from basic NDVI through to advanced plant counting, classification and contour/terrain elevation tools. The Aeroview crop scout app can then be used to sync ground observations before exporting the data to share or as variable rate files directly to machinery for application.

DroneDeploy

Easy to use Flight Planning and Data Sharing

Dronedeploy is an easy to use cloud-based system that offers control of any DJI drone with a simple app-based interface for flight planning and execution, which is why we supply it with our Mavic Agri Pro drone package. Once uploaded imagery is processed and basic plant health and elevation analysis options are available, as well as volumetric measurements and planning options for other industries.

The business plan gives further export options including shapefiles and contours and ground control point import for greater map accuracy. Drondeploy also has an extensive app market which allows other companies such a John Deere and Slantrange to easily integrate allowing for seamless flight planning and data sharing across platforms.

Slantview

In-Field Data Analysis for Slantrange Sensors

Slantview is local program for processing data from Slantrange sensors such as the 3p integrated with our M200 Agri Pro drone system. No network or high-end computer is required with processing beginning on-board whilst still in flight and completed within minutes of landing on a standard laptop, giving access to the full dataset in the field.

A free version will export the data immediately for processing in any of the other software packages listed here. Or paid versions use innovative processing algorithms that require only 20% image overlap to process unlimited amounts of data field-side. Smart Filtering and Detection offer True Plant Stress and Population Measurements, Chlorophyll Index, Weed and Disease Detection as well as basic indexes and calibrated raw image output via industry standard formats.

Basic £900/6 Months £1300/Year. Pro £1700/6 Months £2700/Year.

Pix4D AG

Custom Data Analysis for R&D

Pix 4D was on of the first solutions for processing photogrammetric drone data. It has had a long time to develop a very advanced and powerful, if complicated piece of software. This is generally too much for most applications, though we use it ourselves for R&D purposes, and recommend it to any clients planning such activities. All processing is done locally and so not net connection is required, though a fast computer is recommended.

It is capable of processing almost any type of data, including RGB, Multispectral and Thermal, provided the imagery has been geo-tagged. It provides multiple layers of data analysis and reporting, as well as data accuracy and quality reports. Custom formulas and indices can be input and adjusted, and data can be exported to Google Earth for ground truthing, or direct to farm software/machinery via shapefiles.
